Rockland County Human Rights Commission Achieves Full HUD Certification
February 4, 2010 -
County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef announced that the Rockland County Human Rights Commission received certification for an additional five-year term with full powers to act as an Agency of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to investigate housing discrimination claims in Rockland County.

New Bus Center to Open at Palisades Center
November 20, 2009 - A new Bus Center has been established at the Palisades Center Mall near the southeast mall entrance facing Route 59 (near the Macy’s first floor entrance). The facility was unveiled during a grand opening event and buses will begin serving the new Bus Center Saturday, November 21. The project was a joint effort between the Rockland County Department of Public Transportation and the Palisades Center Mall.
